UltraLevel, Inc., a Detroit based IT solutions firm, is a leader in Application Delivery, Storage and Virtualization technologies.  UltraLevel is currently looking for a Senior Consultant that is a Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Server 2007 specialist.

The AD/Exchange consulting specialist will provide professional consulting services on major enterprise initiatives and mission critical Enterprise Data Management projects across the Microsoft platform. The AD/Exchange consulting specialist will work in a variety of enterprise environments to design and implement cost effective and scalable upgrade strategies (Exchange 2000/2003 to Exchange 2007), migration strategies (Lotus Notes to Exchange 2007), Exchange clustering and integration strategies with Windows Operating Systems (Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows 2003), ISA Server, Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM), Systems Management Server 2003 (SMS), and other advanced components of Microsoft technology.

The AD/Exchange consulting specialist will oversee the design, architecture, implementation, security and support of large multi-site, multi-domain messaging server environments; lead client visioning for future systems, lead project teams, prepare scope documents and project plans, and design and implement best practices for provisioning, identity management and password management to ensure client investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives. The AD/Exchange consulting specialist will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Exchange matters, including sales and RFP support, and mentoring, training and support of less senior Exchange Engineers.

The AD/Exchange consulting specialist will be responsible for maintaining the Office Online ASP Exchange/AD environment for our hosted customers.

Minimum Required Experience and Education: The AD/Exchange consulting specialist will have 5-10+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience delivering complex mission-critical (24/7) technical solutions, including planning, development, rollout and support for large enterprise messaging initiatives. In-depth experience with multi-site, multi-domain and mixed-mode messaging architectures is required. Must possess expert knowledge in Exchange 2003 (Exchange 2007 highly preferred), migration strategy planning (Lotus Notes to Exchange 2007), Active Directory, integration strategy planning with Windows Operating Systems (Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows 2003),  ISA Server, Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM), Systems Management Server 2003 (SMS), and other advanced components of Microsoft technology.

This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, between both the customer and all levels within the organization. Knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs is also required. Must be motivated with a focus on team performance.

Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Business/Computer Science or related field (preferred).
