Dell Completes Acquisition of IT Security Leader SonicWALL
May 9th, 2012Dell Inc. today announced it has finalized its acquisition of SonicWALL, Inc., a leader in advanced network security, secure remote access, email security, backup and recovery, and management and reporting. The SonicWALL acquisition expands Dell's security software and services portfolio.
Dell has taken significant steps over the past three years to develop its software and services portfolio to empower customers to create a competitive advantage with cloud computing, consumerization of the enterprise and the increasing demands for secure, anytime, anywhere access to applications and data.
